NextFab's Corporate and Institutional memberships have been designed to accommodate the changing needs and evolving staffing of today's agile organization. Unlike our individual memberships, Corporate and Institutional Memberships allow any number of employees of an organization to receive training and have access to NextFab's facilities with a simple flat initiation fee per employee. The organization can choose how many employees are allowed to be in NextFab's facilities at any one time, and pays a low, tiered membership fee based on that number.
For example, you company might have 8 engineers who all will be using NextFab Studio, but only two will ever need to be working in our shops at the same time. To give all 8 access, you would pay $400 ($50/person) for initiation and safety training for all eight, place a $200 security deposit with us (refundable if the membership is terminated in good standing after at least 2 paid months), then pay only $300 per month membership dues. Any two engineers of the eight can be in NextFab using our facility or receiving our free training at any time.
Normal individual member pricing, terms and restrictions will apply for materials, machine access and services, and expert hours access, unless otherwise stated.
Corporate and Institutional members should designate an employee as the point of contact (“Account Exec”) for the membership. The account exec should be authorized to bind the company in a contract, should fill out the Institutional Membership Agreement, and should provide NextFab Studio a list of employees ("Designees") authorized to receive access. The corporation or institution should pay the monthly dues and the security deposit. The corporation may elect to pay the initial fee for each employee, or to have employees pay their own initaition fees.
Each employee issued an ID will also fill out a separate "Designee Agreement".
