Membership

Like a fitness gym membership, NextFab Studio memberships give you access to excellent tools and equipment without having to buy and house them yourself. We offer memberships to individuals, students, educational institutions, non-profits, and businesses on a month by month, and annual basis.

All memberships include:

• general access to the facility, including
  • conference room, lounge, and kitchenette
  • computer workstations and all software tools
  • small-tools workshop
  • electronics workshop
• a user account on our server with 10 GB of storage
• free access to all of our regularly scheduled classes
• a basic kit of personal safety gear
• complimentary wifi broadband internet access for your laptop
• basic technical support from our expert staff
• access to our free raw materials exchange

The following involve additional fees:

• raw materials from our stockroom
• large private storage lockers with padlocks (8 cu. ft., $15/month)
• private training
• use of certain specialty equipment and tools and/or proprietary materials
• prototyping/model building service, special material orders, technical consulting services

  • Month by month: $79/month, prepaid
  • Annual: $869/year, prepaid or paid monthly
• Student:
  • Month by month: $49/month, prepaid

Membership initiation fee: $50, non-refundable (includes member orientation, safety training, and basic safety gear)

Security deposit: $100, refundable at termination of membership in good standing
